I have both an Acekard 2 and a DSTT. The Acekard 2 is better. Well worth the extra $4 from DealExtreme.

Although I have no experience with the Acekard 2, I can honestly say, from the looks of the vids, reviews, etc, the Acekard 2 is better.

I've tried the modified DSTT firmware on the SCDS1 SDHC, and seemed to work fine, but nothing really special, other than the loading speed.

However, if you can't spend 4 bucks, or just want to get the cheapest, then the DSTT should be fine.

Hi all,

Just to say I have ordered the Acekard and a 2GB Kingston card from DX.

Think I made the right choice, a couple of reviewers had put me off it saying you should only buy it if you know what you're doing etc, but hopefully I should manage with the guides etc on this site and others. (Yes I managed to find them!

Thanks again for your advice.

Good choice,Supposed to be a nice cart.

My friend purchased an Acekard 2 as well. It does seem to be a good card, from what he's heard. I'm stuck with R4DS and M3 DS Real, and the M3 Real is superb. Never knew why anyone disliked it.

Good choice!

If you've with any other carts that support SDHC, you'll probably see why.

I hated it at first, but now, I recommend it for playing GBA games, or if they want to wait for the M3 Sakura.

If you can't find one of the million threads already posted about this topic, you must be browsing with your eyes shut

But anyway, if you want a reliable, cheap flashcart, go with the Acekard 2, just like the rest of the threads which ask the same question asking for individual advice because they couldn't find the other million threads >_

The AK2 is pretty easy to use, particularly with the Bliss menu using the "CHEAT.DAT" cheat database format (no rebuilding of the database necessary). The Bliss menu also loads GBA games directly to the EZ 3in1 or eWin 2in1 without GBA ExpLoader, which makes playing GBA games much simpler. I don't think you'll have any problem figuring it out, but if you do you can always post questions in the Acekard forum.

The only cart that might be easier is the DSTT because it lacks many useful options like displaying folders (all .nds files on the microSD are shown in one long list).
