If you get a partial downgrade, all you need to do is redo the downgrade. That's it.

Kind of hard to believe your friend, who know and have successfully hacked his 3ds, is feared of purchasing a game on eshop and transfer it to you. Seriously, he can setup a new emunand installing just FBI and fieldrunners. He won't even need to worry about his games and saves this way.

i hacked his 2ds for him...i had mine hacked too its just my niece updated it..she is four xD he will get it but he is just stubborn and how can he make a new emunand? can he back up his emunand right now to save his games? or will he just have save backups?

Tell him to make an emunand, install tinyformat, run it, set up the emunand, get fieldrunners, put the save in through Godmode9, transfer it over to you, then you open the game with the save on it, tap on "Scores" then click "Make NAND Backup", after it is done, downgrade NATIVE_FIRM to 10.4, then after it is done, put SafeSysUpdater onto the homebrew launcher, get the 9.2 update files and put it into a folder you make called "updates" (yes, all lowercase), then open SafeSysUpdater, press y to downgrade!

Profit.
