Hacking noob needing help

I have an old 3ds and just followed this guide..

3ds.hacks.guide , can use the address cause i'm a new member


everything went well, but here is the thing, where do i play my legal roms at? I'm not sure how to do this. The guide ended with me just cleaning my sd card with a program.

you can put your roms (in .cia format) anyplace on your sd card (a cia folder is recommended) and install them via fbi . . . or you could use freeshop to pirate directly from nintendo servers

Whatever you want as long as it's reliable (which is demonstrated with a full write/read test with f3 or h2testw), 32 or 64 are probably the best size to price ratio and fit enough games for the average user

So I'm trying to make the .3ds file into a CIA using godmode9 but it is failing, say CIA build failed

I have heard i can use decrpy9, not sure if its any different though

okay, i'm ripping a cart, i guess you call it dumping it,, now i'm using godmode 9 to make it a CIA, then i'll use FBI to install that CIA,, however, some of my .3ds files are not working in godmode9 to change them to a CIA file,, what is the best way to change them to a cia file?

if you suggest a program that is used on the 3ds, can you please show me how to install it, i'm still figuring out what lumas is and how it works

Ideally to get a CIA:
1. Insert cartridge
2. Go to [C:] drive
3. There will be three files - a .3ds, a .trim.3ds, and a *-priv.bin
4 in the A button menu for the .trim.3ds, go to NCSD Image Options... -> Build Cia from file.
5. Your cia is in 0:/gm9/out with name [many numbers here]-v0?.trim.cia (the ? Will likely be a 0, Potentially a 1)
