Hi guys, apologies as I am sure this has been answered heaps of times..

I have followed the guide here : nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ and I am met with a " fatal error" can not load firmware version .

If i inject hekate ctcaer 4.8 I can navigate to : load\atmosphere...but it crashes after the nintendo logo appears briefly.

I have tried to load with fusee.primary also , this gets me to the Sept screen then crashes .

I have fusee.secondary in the atmosphere folder on the SD which is EXfat.

I have loaded the latest version of atmosphere with the master file 0.8.4 and placed all files where they are meant to be..

What am I doing wrong ? can anyone assist, happy to provide more information if required, I am completely new to homebrew/modding scene...

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE :

Got it sorted by cleaning out the SD & fresh install of all components off a different PC , I think it was a consolidation of a few mistakes. Now the next thing is to get my games to work , what is required here ? They simply say unable to laod , try again from home menu . I also can not see the homebrew menu in albums..

You installed the sigpatches? Press R when you go to album.

Are they installed NSPs? Because that should work if you use Kosmos. It's pretty much airtight.

I would suggest the following

1) Save your Nintendo folder from the SD Card.
2) Download Guiformat - http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm (click the picture)
3) Format your SD Card with Guiformat, it will make the card FAT32.
4) Copy back your Nintendo folder
5) Copy over the latest Kosmos release
6) Test and see if it works, also try to reinstall with Goldtree 0.3 or 0.5 Nightly and see if it helps.

Thanks again , got it finally, didnt have to format the card, but simply moved the sig patches from SD root into atmosphere and another Kosmos update.......and its quite rewarding , this is the first venture into any type of hacking/modding etc and was the oh too common case of the children updating the switch i brought for them thinking I would save some cash on games etc...only to then thinking i wasted it all on a paperweight..
