(congratulations on the release...................here's the problem................I got NoNpDRM producing working game dumps, but I can't have a official memory card in the vita after "factory restore and memory card wipe", when i install henkaku.xyz/go/ then from molecular shell install vita shell and henkaku enso.vpk, after install henkaku enso and placing the plugin into the ux0/tai folder (not the ur0 folder) and adding the path to the plugin in the ux0/tai/config.txt..............then the folder nonpdrm/license will be created in the root of ux0 after a game is launched for a minute or two minutes from the game's bubble the cartridge creates...........that is good for getting the fake license, an you can drag and drop the game files from the "gr0", i think, folder to your pc via ftp then you have all you need, just rename the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.rif file into work.bin and place it in the "GAME FOLDER/sec_sys/package/work.bin..............then you an install and boot it on a vita with the plugin enabled, that is all good and well HOWEVER)

(If I try to install nonpdrm with a installation on a vita unit of henkaku and then henkaku enso with official memory card, the fake license will not be created..................some games don't copy files directly to pc, you have to copy them to the official memory card first, and then to the pc....................but can't get the fake license because official memory card was used..................went through this problem and had to reformat to factory restore and wipe memory card at least 4 times to share, cough, I mean finish my personal backups)

(sure other people probably have that problem, anyway, the plugin works great after install mlthaku, with the instructions in the release thread, just you have have problems trying to get the fake license, remember? NoNpDRM does not work with sd2vita because it occupies the same slot on the vita unit) Anyway, the update button doesn't work for me for some reason, not a problem. Great Release once again. Looking forward to whatever else comes my way.)

(however for the unit that i have mlthaku installed, i placed the NoNpDRM plugin in the ur0 folder and added the patch to the ur0 folder for the plugin in ur0/tai/config.txt................I have no intentions of getting a fake license on that unit just using the backups I made for my own personal use on that one)

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
