No undies in swim shorts/board shorts

Hi, is it possible not to wear anything under the swim shorts/board shorts?

Swim shorts/board shorts have netting (built-in briefs) inside.

Wearing normal underwear under swim shorts is dirty and gross.

Then again, I dun have swim shorts as I haven't swam in years and years.

For those that don't know swimshorts/swim briefs etc it's all "Swimwear" to swim in the water.
Here's a link for the 2015 men's swimwear stuff

I preffer normal speedo swim briefs or square leg suits

but you do get that whatever might have rubbed off on that underwear is nothing compared to whats left on the body?

also,usually some other kind of swimwear. i like to dive in from the towers and its always good to have that backup cover
