I recently bought a new TV which I connected my wii to through component. Unfortunately I can't play old games anymore because the screen turns black and the music stops when I try to start one.
If I press the home button on my wiimote the picture and sound returns but I can only go back to the wii home screen.
New games works just fine so do I need to switch to an normal rgb cabel to make it work? I didn't have the same problem with my previous TV.
