Gaming No More Heroes 2...issues.

Fuck I wish game designers would use their brain a bit more. Just wasted 2 hours because I selected quit at a boss battle but didnt get back at the game menu but the game really quit. Give a fucking warning OK?

Also the whole block/dodge system is still total shit. Doesnt matter that much most of the time but in some boss battles it suck because winning is more down to luck that actuall skill because you just cant dodge certain attacks.

Like i'm losing half the health I got from just one attack because the boss can use some unbreakable combo's in combination with others attacks you cant dodge and you pretty much get fucked that way.

Other than that the game is great and far far better than NMH1 but shit like above just makes me go from really wanting to play to not really want to play, especially losing data because of getting dropped out of the game without being able to save...

The ending was lame for this game as well. I played through on easy and I will not be playing through again on the hardest. I didn't know you could dual wield katanas, so maybe I'll boot it up to see. Bosses were too easy, I only died once, maybe twice, at the boss on the motorcycle. But I drove off the cliff once by myself. Story was cool, Shinobu sucked ass. That boss was RIDICULOUSLY simple. Maybe I got lucky, but I slashed the crap out of him and I barely jumped one or twice.

I'm dissapointed from the boss battles. They are somewhat forgettable, compared to the first game... They lack the character and the brutality that I expected. In the first NMH, the bosses had a lot of character, were amusing to fight, the killing cutscene was totally over the top and the feeling was a lot different.
Also, what the fuck is with the ending?! The last boss was a joke, albeit the interesting twist! Not to mention the ending scene itself, which actually started epic... I think there's another ending, like in the first NMH.

On a side note - Santa Destroy seems to be there in it's full form (like in the first game), it's just not accessible. It can be, however, seen in the credits and it's the same old city with the same old pop-up and graphical glitches... no joke, it's actually all there, in 3D with all the graphical glitches.

Despite all of this, I liked the game.

My sentiments exactly. The battle system was a lot more refined and there were some cool additions, but..the boss battles just LACKED character and that was the thing that made me the most disappointed. Mini-games were cool, I miss the assassin missions, I miss beam-katana upgrades too.

..You are complaining about the difficulty when you were playing on sweet? I wonder why it was easy? derp
I played it on Mild, and started Bitter the other day. Mild was reasonably difficult. Bitter should be difficult as in NMH
