Hacking No "GW3D" version on New3DS?

I'm trying to setup emuNAND on my New3DS but when I launch gateway mode, the settings menu still display "9.2.0" without GW3D in front.

I followed the instructions from the manual : Insert a new SD card with just launcher.dat, boot Gateway menu, Format EmuNAND, then boot Gateway mode. But the version display doesn't change. Any idea why?

If you'd bother to search the forum you'd find that larger SD cards don't work well with emunand. Just use the original SD card your 3DS came with and update your emunand, the GW3D part should be there.

When you say doesn't work well, is there any known bug besides the "GW3D" not appearing? Or is it fine to update it with the small SDcard to be safe, then transfer to the bigger one using this tutorial https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-transfer-emunand-to-another-sd-card-working-on-new3ds.383684/
