Ok I recently got my sky3ds+ and skydock. I extracted the private header and did everything I was supposed to so that I could play online. When I put my sky3ds+ in my 3ds xl and scroll through all the games and plug it back in to my PC no .cfg files are being created. I followed the guide and everything. Am I missing something?

Could you copy the content of your settings.txt file? Without the private header of course.
Did it create the .sav files?

FIRMWARE_VERSION=140
DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY=
HIGH_SPEED_ENABLED=0
ACTIVITY_LED_COLOR=000000
EEPROM_LED_COLOR=FF0000
SD_LED_COLOR=0000FF
CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTING=1

HIGH_SPEED_ENABLED=0 should be 1 but I don't think that's the issue.
If your header is wrong (not 32 characters and/or contains spaces) it might explain why the cfg is not created.

My settings.txt looks like this:
FIRMWARE_VERSION=140
CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=1
DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY=
HIGH_SPEED_ENABLED=1
ACTIVITY_LED_COLOR=008000
EEPROM_LED_COLOR=FF0000
SD_LED_COLOR=0000FF

Here is what you can try either or a combinaison of:
- Put CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=1 where it's in my file.
- Change CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=1 to CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=0. Put the card back in the console. Switch though all your game. Then change it back to CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=1.
- Delete your settings.txt, have the card recreate it and add again CREATE_PER_GAME_SETTINGS=1.

After that if it still doesn't work I'm out of ideas.
