Hacking NNID Transfer?

Since GW 2.0b2 is out, and eShop finally works for me. I was wondering:

Can I take my 5.1 ambassador 3DS, update it to 7.1, link a NNID, then call Nintendo and transfer the games over to my 4.5 3DS and download via emuNAND? Only wondering because I don't want to update my 5.1 3DS to 7.1 over nothing.

It's a gateway feature where you emulate a SystemNAND on your SD card, so you don't have to update your SystemNAND, you updaye your EmuNAND instead. Your EmuNAND can go online to do eShop and NNID stuff. (Since you mentioned Gateway in your original post, I assume you own one)

I know what that is, and I've been using it for a while. TL;DR I was wondering if I could update my 5.1 3DS to 7.1, link a NNID, then call nintendo and have them link that NNID to my emuNAND'd 4.5 3DS. I want to move my ambassador games over.

System transfer doesn't work on emuNAND iirc.

Oh, well damn... what about transferring the games to SD card and having Nintendo reactivate them for you when you sign into the eShop with your NNID? No updating required.
