Alright, so... in Metroid Prime, if you hold the left trigger when there are no enemies nearby, a reticle will appear in the center of the screen and Samus will strafe (instead of turning left and right like she usually does). This doesn't work properly however when using a controller with digital triggers (like the Wii U Pro or in my case, the Hori Battle Pad): the button doesn't do anything when there are no enemies nearby, but it does lock on to them when they are.

Now I'm wondering, is there a way to fix this? Perhaps some kind of cheat code to make the make the left trigger completely digital within the game? I'm not even sure what exactly is causing this, I know you can hold left bumper and then press the left trigger to essentially simulate a "half-press", but this doesn't do anything in Metroid Prime either.

EDIT: Also, it's be really cool if someone could help me get the Widescreen HUD patch to work.

I don't get it, the Wii U tablet always is controller one for me, even though my Pro Controller was controller one before. Anyone has a hint for me how to change that?

thats how its coded.. if gamepad is choosen when starting the wiivc inject, the gamepad will always be controller one.

This program is fantastic. Works with no issues. Love the memory card emulation feature.
TO think that Nintendont started as a proof of concept to demonstrate that Nintendo had absolutely no reason NOT to allow GameCube games to run to the Wii U. I remember the first demonstration where Wind Waker was showed playing on a Wii U using a PlayStation controller.

I got some issues when I used Nintendont to play the NGC games on WiiU gamepad :

1. how to quit the game and go back to game select interface of Nintendont?

2. most of games are working well except Metriod Prime I & II, I always meet the balck screen with sound even I have tried different roms.

thanks in advance

1 you cant, you either press home to return to wiiu menu or press power to shutdown the console.

2- your probably forcing settings on the games that are imcompatible with metroid prime engines, take a picture of your nintendont setttings.

Hello! I am using the Nintendont forwarder that I got from USB Helper, along with the Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door inject (also from USB helper.) Whenever I try and launch it, the Wii screen loads up, then a screen from Nintendont that says "failed to create memory card file." I checked Nintendont and made sure that memory card emulation is on, but it doesn't save the configuration when I exit it. Any ideas?
