The crash happens after I drag and drop the GC ISO and after it finishes the hash calculation.

Yes because it didn't load the dat file. :)

I need to make a release that has the data file embedded since it's not likely there are going to be any new retail Gamecube releases anymore.

The dat file is in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GCVerify it shouldn't crash. The name is gc.dat, should i rename it maybe?

No, I said leave it a zip and name it "redump.zip" but don't worry about it now. Go back to GitHub and get v1.1.2 I just put up. It has the data files embedded in it and shouldn't have to download anything now.

I am having a little problem, Nintendont dont recognize my gamecube games, I think that my fat 32 hdd isnt correctly formated. Can someone provide me the link for a good fat 32 formatting tool?

Hello everyone.

Been reading a ton of stuff on here the last week and pulled my old Wii out of storage and did the softmod. I used the Letterbomb technique and everything seemed okay. I put on an emulator and played some old NES games. I then tried to play a Wii game from my USB drive and that did not work. I went through a bunch more guides (I think I used about 15 guides) and did different things. I finally reset everything, formatted my SD card again, used the Letterbomb then used Modmii as my only source. Now my Wii games do show up in my USB Loader (GX) and it plays fine, but I cannot get the Gamecube games to work at all. I have nintendont installed exactly as listed in the guide.

nintendont version: 4.425
32gb USB thumb drive formatted to Fat32 (32k) and only one partition. I actually just reformatted it again using a different program to make sure it was correct.
I have the nintendont folder under the "apps" folder on my SC card with the boot.dol, png, and meta.xml files there. Nintendont will actually launch fine, but it only shows that I have a disc in the Will and does not show my two games on my USB drive.

My USB drive has a "games" folder and then folders under that with the name of the game. I have Star Wars Rogue 2 and Midway Arcade as my two games. Both are changed to "game.iso" in each folder.

I downloaded Syscheck and put the information below. I checked and double checked everything and it seems that all items are in place. I am at a total loss as to what to do next.

I appreciate your help. Please let me know what other information I can provide.

Make sure the ISO are indeed game.iso and not game.iso.iso as that can easily happen in Windows with extensions hidden. Right-Click on an iso and select properties. It will give you the actual file name.

Nope, the game is named correctly. I meant to put that in my description, so sorry about that. I did go double check again just to be sure. I do have file extensions turned on and can see that the game is named appropriately. I went ahead and right-clicked too and looked at the properties and verified it is named game.iso

Have you tried seeing if the games show up when launching Nintendont directly from the Homebrew Channel. If they show up then there is an issue with the loader you are using.

I am going into the Homebrew Channel and launching Nintendont from there. I don't see the games when launching the USB Loader either, but I have stuck with the actual Nintendont application until I know this is working. I launch Nintendont, select USB and then it only shows my game in my disc player.

Thanks man, I named the games bad becuase windows hided the extensions, now I can enjoy my gamecube games

Another thought. The ISO that I have is not one I ripped myself. Is there any file patching (like with Xbox 360) that needs to be done?

Hmmm...thought just hit me. The file was a 7z and I just renamed it ISO as I thought that the 7z program was just tagging it since it didn't know the file extension. Now I wonder if the ISO was actually compressed within the 7z? I need to check that.
