It always crashes when pressing HOME when in settings, both on Wii and vWii. Any ideas why?
Yes, this is a known bug that is fixed in the upcoming v4.428.

Workaround: Don't press Home in the settings menu.
Before converting my ISOs to cISOs (i really need space in my hard drive that is almost full) i want to ask you if because of the "maintain the original file structure" is possible to revert back cISOs tu fullsize ISOs and match the md5.

Another question: have you figured out why the iplpal.bin interfers with Nintendont settings and prevents from forcing 480p in the compatible games?
You can convert CISO back to ISO and, besides the padding, it will be identical. (The MD5 won't match due to the image being scrubbed, though.)

No idea about PAL IPL. I'm not that good at PPC reverse engineering. :V

Just thought, i'd leave this here...

@GerbilSoft to convert ISO to cISO in Windows (once installed wit) i just need to type the command "wit convert -C game.iso"?
Or i need to set more parameteres?
I don't remember if -C is needed. There's two commands, convert and copy. Convert deletes the original; copy doesn't.

I think you need to specify "wit convert game.iso game.ciso" to convert to CISO format.

Thank you, after i wrote the message i figured out using the command "wit help", "-C" was the parameter for cISO, then the command is "wit convert -C game.iso"

Either method works. You can either use the flag or just specify a new extension with COPY.

i think, it might be linked to LAN support for Triforce Arcade (and maybe NGC adapter emulation support).

Someone actually needs to have a proper look... @FIX94? @GerbilSoft?
basicaly crediar just putted all the comands the triforce arcade calls when doing the lan multiplayer, but theres no actual code just the comand prompts so its just some basic guideline.

Recently updated the Nintendon't boot.dol, loading through both it and USB Loader GX gives a "Failed to create memory card file!" error. What do I need to do to fix this?

That was a fast fix. Deleting the saves file from USB fixed it.

So... quick question for you guys. I know this question might seem like it'd be hard to achieve and I that it wouldn't take just a simple Nintendont update to add this in. Heck, it'd probably take several months of research for this to be implemented and probably would need some sort of proprietary hardware and adapter for it to work. That being said, I am still relatively curious about this potential prospect.

Has anyone considered making an Adapter so the Game Boy Player could work on things like the Wii U and Wii?

Now, like I said above, I highly acknowledge that you wouldn't just be able to make a simple adapter for it to work. The Game Boy Player of course sits on the GameCube and connects with its "High Speed Port."

Due to this port being very different compared to say.... a USB Port on the Wii or Wii U, emulation of those function calls would probably have to be performed in the background while running a game in Nintendont. Which, would honestly be the easy part since other functions of the GameCube are similarly emulated (sans the syscalls.) The hard part would be to reverse engineer how the port works and communicates with the Game Boy Player.

The other hurdle would also be the fact that proprietary hardware would be necessary to make. There are no connections similar to the High-Speed Port on the Wii or Wii U. So a special adapter would have to be made in order for it to at least communicate with the hardware.

Arguably the easiest part in all of this would to increase compatibility to the Game Boy Player boot-up disc IMO :P.

All this being said, it would be neat if someone were to research into this, although I'd understand if it wasn't seen as a priority since polish work is mainly the focus right now for Nintendont.

Anyways, what do you think about this prospect? You all think it could possibly be achievable?

you do know that the game boy player is basicaly a gba that connects to the gc and the gc basicaly just displays the picture on the screen right?

So you want someone to make an adapter for the gameboy player to connect to the wii or wiiu? good luck with that lol.

It would probably be easier to build an gba with new hardware from the ground up wich could stream to the tv.

I never said that I wanted someone to do that. All I asked was if it was feasible or not.
