I am having trouble running my Gamecube games of my flash drive.

I put the flash drive in, run Nintendont through HBC, and play a game. I quit out with the home button, and go back to Nintendont, but it tells me there are no FAT devices, even though it worked 3 minutes ago. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think its the fault of the game itself, but the fact that Wario World was the only game I used on dios mios. how would i go about uninstalling dios mios? considering all the games which werent used with dios mios work fine with nintendont, i figure this is worth a shot.
nintendont doesnt use any thing dios mios does at all its totaly diferent so nintendont doesnt care if you used dm or not my guess is download or rip a new wario world full iso and try it out just becuase soemthing works on dm or dolphin doesnt mean nintendont has to work with it too.

Unplugging the adapter turns it off.
Yes I know that - but you have 2 USB cables one is data and one is just to draw more power(for the rumble motors)

So plug data USB into Wii U and init with smash. Plug power USB into anything that can supply power.

With the power still plugged connect the data to a different e.g. laptop for possible finctional HID and also potential ease of discovering more info about the adapter?

With the power USB always connected it should stay powered up, right?

Those who had nintendont working and now it black screens.
Downgrade nintendont one version at a time until it works again. So we know what version broke it.

"Init HID devices... Failed! Shutting down" always displays a second line directly underneath it saying why it failed. What does the next line say?
The problem for me is that the Wii U reboots too quickly for me to read it.

EDIT: Luigi's Mansion PAL STILL has issues with McEmu turned on for me in r226.

EDIT2: Seems somewhere HID devices broke. r226 doesn't black screen if HID is off.

Tested r226 and I get Please connect HID to Bottom Rear but I don't in r225 but it still black screens so more testing is in order.

it only blackscreens in v225 with the gamecube adapter, it works with the pro controller without any problems.

Which would suggest the HID devices were broken somewhere along the line as I have no issues with the Wii U Pro Controller either but HID devices is another story.

You are completely right, i just tried using my ps4 controller and it also blackscreens. I'll start testing different versions straight away

I can confirm the r216 works no problem with DS4.

I think I found the culprit. Looks like we are destined not to have a fancy GUI that JoostinOnline made.

r217 DOES NOT WORK WITH HID. r216 DOES.

Just tried v224 with the adapter and it didn't even detect it (said to plug it in even though it already was and was powered on).

Someone managed to run Luigi's Mansion PAL at 480p? I have a NTSC wii and running at USB Loader GX, but i can't make it work other mode except PAL60, or 576i, as my TV says.

This is more or less a question for Super Smash Bros Melee owners, this been happening for me with Dios Mios as well, I was playing Adventure mode with Kirby earlier today and once I beat the level before DK the loading screan lasted much longer than usual I almost thought the game crashed, after that the game progressed normally, now my copy is compressed and I was using Nintendont 2.225 though I recall this happening with Dios Mios as well, is this normal?

On a different yet similar note, since I haven't got the new Super Smash yet I was wondering, should I get it for 3DS or Wii U? I was thinking to get it for 3DS because cartridges last longer than discs and it's easier for me to pick up my 3DS anytime and play rather than having to set up my Wii U in order to play, but now that I hear a lot about the official GCN controller adapter I'm tempted to get the Wii U version instead just for that, what do you guys think?

No it didn't. It may not work with one specific controller, but that doesn't mean it's broken. I test it with every release I make.

I am using a DS4 which is confirmed working. It works in r216 but not r217 or later.

Also the Wii U Gamecube adapter works fine in r216 except for the reversed control stick.

Just tried r223 and it still black screens with HID on.

People have been using HID just fine post-217. A more likely cause is there something wrong with my devkit install.

There is something funky going on. On r217 or later I either get a black screen or the Plug controller into Rear Bottom USB Port.

Hang on. let me try the custom r220 version I compiled myself.

EDIT: Nope still blackscreens.

i just tried using my DS4 on v217 and it works. This is weird
Out of curiosity are you using a Wii or Wii U? and what region?

I am getting mixed results. r217 gives me the Plug Controller into Bottom Rear yet r218 works yet r220 black screens.

I'm pretty sure that anyone trying to use the gamecube adapter is using a North American Wii U since Smash is not out anywhere else yet.
