Thank y

Thanks! I'm gonna get a bigger SD card once I get more money.
At this moment, my card can only handle Sonic Gems Collection.
Really, you should get a HDD, more space for less money, and like Goku Junior said, USB is faster...

EDIT: also if you look a bit harder, you can find a hdd that is inexpensive.

Maybe they'd have one at Staples.
Last time I was at Staples they had 8gb SD and flash drives in a bin at the front of the store for less than $10 a piece. Though that was a while ago, in Texas, and I can't guarantee they'd be that good. I'm just saying if you look, you can find some pretty low prices for stuff 16gb and under.

so i managed to play baten kaitos with the last rev but when i save my file goes corrupted and there is no way to load the game :s anyway to fix this?

Spyro A Hero's Tail [G5SP7D] consistently freezes when you go into Bentley's house to defeat the Yeti's.

EDIT: Making a new save seems to fix it, very strange. But the game freezes often so maybe not.

Hey guys, I have Nintendont. I have a External with all my wii hacking stuff on it. I don't have WiiFlow, but I want it. I read the section::

Does it work with USBLoaders?
Yes, Wiiflow, USBLoaderGX and PostLoader support nintendont launching.

- Put the nintendont's boot.dol in the default nintendont folder.
- Set Gamecube mode to nintendont in your preferred loader's settings
- Don't forget to put controller.ini on the root and the memory card file to /saves/ folder on the device where your games are located.

Default nintendont folder:
- USBGX: /apps/Nintendont/ (can be changed in the loader's settings). since r1219, USBGX accepts both boot.dol and loader.dol filename.
- Wiiflow: /apps/Nintendont/
- PostLoader: (probably) /apps/Nintendont/

How would I set Gamecube mode to Nintendont in WiiFlow? I've tried looking it up but couldn't find anything.

Once I get WiiFlow it should look like this, right?

USB/apps/wiiflow/apps/nintendont

And in the apps folder is where I would precede to put emulators?

USB/apps/wiiflow/apps/emulator

??

Also how do I save using Nintendont? I read something about the memory card file, but I didn't see a download link.

Edit: Oh, and I'm on Wii U (vWii)

The memory card creates itself when you enable mcemu before loading a game, you'll be asked to format it every first time you load a game, do it (each game had its own memory card file).

Nintendont's folder goes in the first apps folder, not inside wiiflow's. There will be a setting in wiiflow to choose nintendont, just look around.

Not sure what you mean with emulators.

wanted to check before updating list, on v1.130, Mystic Heroes displays "An Error has occured. Turn of power and refer to Nintendo Gamecube tm Instruction booklet for further instructions."List says its working but I haven't gotten it to work at all on Nintendon't

Awesome, got the saves working thanks. Gonna go watch some videos and try to hook up WiiFlow now :)

Doesn't WiiFlow have a bunch of options? It sure looked like it on the videos I've seen. Like Wii, GCN, N64, Sega, etc... I'm assuming you have to download emulators and roms, right? Or does WiiFlow just do everything?

Wiiflow has TONS of options. Definately the most confusing for first time users. If your using wiiflow for backups/Nintendont then you can use cfg or gx because they are much simpler.

I use cfg now and I like it, but WiiFlow is so aesthetically pleasing I'm willing to learn. It seems like once you understand it it's the easiest to navigate for ALL of my backups in one place (wii, gcn, snes, n64).

Pretty much everything I've been doing is confusing (I'm starting to pick it up though) so I might as well have a pretty end result:lol:

Edit: So I've got Wiiflow now and it's nothing like what I've seen...

How would I get a set up like that?

I have it set so that Nintendont is my default GCN, but how come I don't have a game library? All it does it launch Nintendont? I can only get my Wii games to show up

Check your iso. Works flawless for me.

Also, some people changed the compatibility list again, adding issues to Soulcalibur and XIII, without adding the last working version...

We need better ways of updating the Wiki because frankly, people who are changing it but seemingly have trouble updating the version information, when the block to change it is, like, on the same line.

People, what is the damage here, why is it so bloody difficult to update the information with the last working version?

It seems to be an increasing problem too. Very annoying that people are too lazy to update a few numbers. That column is very important to the devs.

Any way a mod to make it where you MUST be logged in to the wiki so we know who is editing it?

People are simply too lazy to update the version information, which is integral to help narrow down issues with games, otherwise, yeah, it could end up being a royal PITA. Too bad log-ins can't be forced when editing the Wiki, or some kind of user tracking system.

Well you'd assume the last working version is the one before the current release, but that's not always the case.
Can't you see the individual revisions of the wiki?

What you could do is redesign the main wiki page so EACH game will have it's own page.
Then the main web page pulls the info out of each specific game's page.
Then you could easily track/check the History of edits to see how many edits that specific game title has and when and by whom.

I think that makes no difference, except for giving a bit more of background of each test and explain changes in the compatibility list (having a whole page gives you more space to write). You can already check the history and see which section of the compatibility page was changed (i.e. which letter) So I already know the IP from the person who changed Soul Calibur and XIII; but that's it. The issue isn't really finding out who made the change (though if we could know we could tell him how to do it correctly next time) but the fact that people doesn't read the notes about editing the list or ask how to do it.

Another issue is that people change the wiki according to their own findings. So, someone edited Soul calibur (i think) to say that it works fine in 1.130 but it freezes randomly (since it's "working" he didn't change the last working version to 1.111)... then Someone else comes and deletes the freezing note. Then, with this game, there really isn't a reason to have the last working version, because it is either working perfectly, or still working with some random freezes. It would be different if the game stopped working altogether.

With XIII, someone edited it to say it Works because now you can save (here again, no reason to change the last working version (1.126) because it is still working), and later edited it again as Issues, because it freezes at some point (by this point he either forgot what the last working version was or didn't know he had to add it. Then the same person that edited Soul Calibur II (the last time) edits this entry again to delete the note about the freezing and leaves it as Works, hence the "last working version" is again the one that's already shown.

So, tldr; I wouldn't say it was "wrong" to skip the last working version if the game is still working, I'd want it added if the game stopped working in the test just made. Also, it seems almost EVERYONE who edits the list does it anonimously, because there were only 5 or 6 people logged in in the History. So it really is hard to identify who made those changes (unless a mod makes a search user by ip in the forum)

In any case, I would think it should be possible to close the wiki so only logged in people can change it.
