Crap.. Yeah, I'm using 1.21, SD version on the Wii, using Gamecube controllers. I don't know what I did wrong but it's just an empty file, I mean, WTF. It just forced me to hard reboot. Ugh, some help I've been. Maybe I shouldn't bother testing at all if I can't get all the necessary information for the DSP or generate a new log file.
Just run sonic mega collection PAL and looked at the log file, it says DSPv2

Still doesn't explain why it didn't generate the file properly. but I'll update it. Bloody file...

if you look at the top of compatibility list it says something about dspscan try that

Not sure why I didn't think of that, thanks
Edit: Hmmm. Generated a 1 KB file, but nothing in the text...

Any reason why I can't add Sonic Mega Collection to the compat list even after logging in? It tells me "Someone else has changed this page since you started editing it. The upper text area contains the page text as it currently exists. Your changes are shown in the lower text area. You will have to merge your changes into the existing text. Only the text in the upper text area will be saved when you press "Save page"."

WTF?

What's the point of editing if my edits can't be saved?

I added it below the entry Sonic Heroes, but this doesn't even let me edit it. Counterproductive.

It's what happens if someone else is editing the compatibility list at the same time as you. When that pops up, what I do is go back, copy the entire list I was editing (ALL the entries, not just my changes) and then reload whatever letter category I was in and paste until it registers. Patience is key.

were it says aaa_ i think the number after _ is the version number

Ah, it says "aaa_2" on the file, that would explain it. I'll use that next time :D

Yeah, I didn't even realize that was the cause :P

I had tried Sonic Adventure DX NTSC but it doesn't work. Using Wii U with Nintendont 1.21.

Updated that like an hour ago so please check the compatiblity list. The main thread shouldn't just re-iterate what's on the list. I usually update the list and only mention the game here if it has any changes.

Yes, but some games works for some USBs and don't work for others, I used a generic 8GB pendrive and it doesn't works, anyway, I don't had seen that list sorry, the next time I will check it before posting.

No problem. Just trying to keep the main thread uncluttered. The compatiblity list has actually gotten a lot of action lately as far as people helping to update it so if you're interested in a game, its usually there already or, if not, then add that puppy and help the overall effort.

Well, sometime ago I try to make me a user form the wiki, but I can't because the security code all the time it says wrong, I will try now if I can make a user, I wish help the project with all I can do.

EDIT: I tried again, but it is show me the "Missing or incorrect code"

Tried dropping the ISO....it generated a 1 KB file, it only says "1" This is not my day lol.

That's not how the program is supposed to be used though.

You either open a cmd and run the the dspscan.exe with a game as a argument so you get the filename with the DSP version.
You can also make yourself a batch that automatically does it on all games in a folder and writes it to a file.

Code:
for /R %%i IN (*.iso) DO (
"dspscan.exe" "%%i" >> DSPVersions.txt
[SIZE=4][FONT=Times New Roman][COLOR=#000000] [/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE]
[SIZE=12px][FONT=Verdana][COLOR=#2c455b])

it was here the whole time anywayhttp://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont-crediars-new-project.349258/page-118#post-4927635

You (and users) don't need that list.
You need it only if you want to complete/fix the missing DSP in the compatibility list.

unless you have one of the game from that list which is not tested yet and don't want to get the DSP yourself?
You can add non tested games to wiki too, if you have the DSP version. non tested games will be listed in grey color.

So I just downloaded the latest revision and have been troubleshooting for the past few hours and noticed some issue consistency. Thought I'd share with the developers, so that I didn't just completely waste the last few hours of my day, lol. I'm using through Wiiflow r1073, app and games loading from usb, fat32 formatted.

Basically, it works fine with the compatible games; *until*, I either get a bad boot (e.g. try to load an incompatible game), or hit a bad reset (using the gc controller command; occasionally freezes instead of going back to wiiflow, haven't pinpointed when/why exactly). After one of these two events, I'm forced to hold power on my wii to turn off, and when I bring wiiflow back up to load a gc game via nintendont, it will consistently give a DSI fatal error, do a crash dump and reload to wiiflow -- even after I cycle power on the system. This will persist, I found out, *until* I load a certain wii game (e.g. smash or galaxy; pandora's tower does not work). I load the game, let it get pass the warning and initial loading screen, and press home as soon as it will let me to click back to wii menu (which is routed back to wiiflow in my case). Whatever this does, it is like an automatic nintendont reset, instantly allowing me to load compatible gc games again -- until another "DSI" triggering event occurs.

I finally got a way to load the games - through the new beta of USBLoaderGX!! :D or atleast that's what I thought.
Now, when I try to load a game with Nintendont, I get DSI exception!
Might it have to do with the IOS I'm using? Should I install IOSes 222 248 and 249, or is that not the problem?

EDIT: I also have come to the realization that I could be a giant idiot and have a bad ROM,
but still post your suggestions just in case it doesn't work ^_^

current ios 58 is the most important , but thats just for loading from HBC i believe
