It uses passwords to load your saves

Right, but on the Gamecube it created saves on the memory card so you wouldn't have to write down passwords. When you loaded the save, it loaded the password the game used last. Mega Man X4 - X6 didn't use passwords AFAIK since they used the PSX memory card. That might prove to be an issue for Nintendont if MCemu doesn't work with the game.

When your trying to test a bunch of games in one day, you can't sit and play every game on that list for 30 minutes each, i'm just assuming it uses passwords because the original cartridge uses them. It's been so long since I even played the gamecube version anyway. Never played anything past x2 so I didn't know. Will check on MC emulation later when I check more games

Edit: If you see anymore mistakes on the list, please post here and tell me since I put 95% of those games on the compatibility list

Sorry for assuming....I wasn't aware of how you did your testing. MMX through MMX3 use passwords, X4 uses in-game, but anything past X4 isn't that great :P

I see that THPS3 can't be shrunk, but in its non-shrunk form does it boot?

I will test it again tonight as a clean converted iso when I check megaman again. Thanks for noticing because I thought I just missed shrinking it when I was doing all the moving/shrinking/converting to all the isos I dumped.

Tell me if you see any other problems on the list

No prob, thanks for updating the list as I too want to test it (don't have a USB controller with me since I'm at my parents house) but tomorrow, I'll use a PS3 controller :P I'll let you know of anything else I notice :D

Out of curiosity, so you convert the images with DiscEX, but do you have to keep the generated sys folders when copied to SD:/games/Game ID/game.iso? And do you have to keep the newly created GQSEAF name, or whatever ID the game is?

I dump the game using CleanRip on my wii, shrink it using gcit, convert with DiskEX, rename the folder it creates to the name of the game, and copy and paste to sd/games

currently trying to figure out how to make controller.ini for dualshock 4 then i'l test a few games

So I don't need the "games" directory to place all the ISO images in? I like having them all in one place :P Then for the app, it's SD:/apps/Nintendont?

Ugh, I guess I've inadvertently been riding on your back lol :P Sorry about that! Then once loaded in vWii, press the PS button on the PS3 controller?

Click the ps button in Nintendont, Also if the game freezes I alternate between the ps button and select until it reboots the system (I have stuff taped on my b button on my gamepad while I do testing so it boots right to vWii) to speed up the process

Wait, you can actually reboot the Wii U by doing that? Nice. I'll definitely help with testing as well, this is starting to look pretty dang amazing, this Nintendont :D

yeah, someone here was saying to hit random buttons on your controller if the game fails to boot because sometimes it helps to boot the game ( it never did so don't try) but when I hit select it would just reboot to the wiiU menu. learned it was like that for every game so I just alternate the 2 buttons for a seconds and the system just reboots.

Holding the b button on the gamepad make it boot right to the vWii menu if you didn't know

I mean, I knew about the holding b part, but just a way for the Wii U to do it automatically without having to hold B is all :P

Apparently vWii wont boot unless the tv is connected and powered/video mode. even if playing on the gamepad. it doesn't make a lick of sense.
Edit: Id love to test on my vWii, but I moved to the rez and accidently left my AC adapter in Albuquerque.

That actually only happens if you're using HDMI; I tested it on component and never had that issue. HDMI and the TV need to communicate, but it's a weird issue. Just an issue with HDMI and the Wii U, they don't like each other when the TV is off, but component/RGB are fine otherwise, not sure why.
