Yes, I've tested with HIDTestv4 and it is working. But when I start Nintendont and choose the game (with the controller off and the HID setting on), it says "plug controller in TOP usb port" and wont go further.

Top usb port? Are you on a Wii or Wii U?

On my WiiU nintendont stops on "checking fs"
I've tried r86, r89, v1r22
Game loaded from usb pen in the front right USB port.
Games tried: Zelda 4 sswords, Luigi mansion, Mario kart dd... All installed by dmtoolbox 0.1 , optimized, 32k.

If you need more info tell me!

I'm pretty sure you need to "imagine" it being set up as though it were a DVD player. If it is a Wii the controller goes on the port towards the middle and the hard drive plugged in towards the edge. If Wii-U then the hard drive in the middle and the controller on the outside port.

On wii-u only the back ports are active in vWii.

Top back port for hard drive, bottom back port for controller.

Otherwise, try another harddrive

Random question about the HBC, is there anything I can use to make Nintendont show up as a non-blank tile in the homebrew channel? Is there a PNG I can use a a logo by chance? Random question, I know, just curios :P

There's a simple black one with the word Nintendont in the alpha preview.

Joostin made another but i'm not quite sure where to find it anymore

Yeah, just found it on the new Google Code page, derp, shoulda seen that earlier lol. So far my testing's been going surprisingly well :D Have some more I'll test :P

Can somebody please tell me how to get the games to boot straight from Wiiflow? I have auto boot enabled but when booting from Wiiflow all it does is load the basic Nintendont where it tells me to select usb or sd. And when I check settings again after that everything is defaulted.

What am I doing wrong?

I can play the games fine, at least the ones that work. But can't get it to load from Wiiflow or get the settings to stay.

I am using latest rev on Wii-u in vWii.

I'll try to post here as much information as possible.

Wii Family Edition with original PS3 Controller and USB cable.
Pendrive on port 0
Controller is tested with HIDTest v4 and it is working
nintendont_ps3.ini renamed to "controller.ini" on root of Pendrive (where the games folder is)

When Nintendont HID setting is OFF: game loads and work just fine (but obviously the controller wont work)
When HID setting is ON but the controller is off, it says "plug controller in TOP usb port"
When HID setting is ON and the controller is also on, it says ""Failed! Shutting down, the controller does not match usb:/controller.ini"

I don't know what to do!

I've been having trouble getting my usb detected. WiiU. Could be that it's partitioned... not sure.

But I'm not even looking to load backups. Just want to use an alternate control for my Brawl Project M. Nintendont shuts down if there's no backup to be loaded. Is there some other program that'll allow me to use alternate controllers on vwii? Ps3/4 preferably.

Use HID_Test v6 and see if it says something like the controller configuration is not for this device.

I think PID VID in controller.ini not match your Controller,
you can delete controller.ini from root of Pendrive, then run HIDTest_v6, it will display PID and VID, compare with controller.ini, whether PID and VID are same.

This could very well get me kicked out of here but who cares.

Am I the only one that is all but certain that tueidj works for Nintendo?

Think about it.
**First he is adamant about AP and pretty much bashes, ignores, or deletes anyone that even referenced it.

**Now he brings a suit against a part of code?

Seriously. What's next? claiming that the whole project was his in the first place and having the entire thing removed? Is that @$$ even a member here still? Shouldn't be...

How does he even have such progress and how did he even know how to verify a flipping GC game anyway? I swear.... works for Nintendo and is having the community test the project so they can get VC for the WII-U to run GC stuff. If the homebrew community tests it then who cares if it breaks something right? I mean we already broke warranty no?

Dude, get over it, that's in the past, the issue's been since resolved, there's no need to bring it up. This is NOT the place to discuss it, Nintendont is back to normal and better than before. Please post it in the Devolution threads instead. Wrong section, please post this somewhere else. Keep this on topic. If you read the threads that had transpired since, you'd know full well that the issue has been resolved.

I guess crediar didn't like mine because he removed it in the new repo. You can still download it here:
