Glad to hear it! Now when you want to Mario Party you guys can do it properly. By cursing and hitting each other. : )

try finding a hidden partition first maybe it can be there and deleted .

Sorry for the late response, I didn't find any hidden partition in my drive.
Could it be because of the orders of partitions?

My drive is formatted like this:

1 - NTFS Partition with backups
2 - NTFS Partition with other backups
3 - FAT32 Partition with Wii and GC backups

could this be the reason newer versions of Nintendont can't read my drive?

I noticed the app WiiXplorer, always create a apps folder in my first partition, when I run it from the hdd
I don't know how to change order of partitions though, would changing partition letter works ?

That partitions should be not a problem.
1) ¿Did you have the Wii games, on Iso or Wbfs format?
2) I suppose, but still needing to ask: ¿Did you have renamed you´re GameCube games Isos as: Game.iso any of those?
That would give some light´s about ur problem.

Psdt: It always worked in the past, it's the same HDD I played before, I still have a older version of Nintendont (3.370) and it loads my HDD and the games just fine, why isn't working on the newer versions? Has something changed on how it recognizes the HDD?

now i understand, i´m sorry.

Hi, I'm using TeconMoon's inject script to load GCN games on my Wii U. I have a question about controller configs. I'm using a DS4 for the most part.

I have a folder at /apps/nintendont/ which contains boot.dol, icon.png and meta.xml.
Another folder at /wiiu/controller/ which contains ds4new.ini.

Is that ds4new.ini file responsible for mapping both HID to VPAD and Nintendont? I like the layout for Wii U games (MK8, Smash) as it lines up fine, but I'd prefer it rotated 90* for GCN games. Is this possible?

Another option I could have is maybe editing the DS3 file instead and using those for GCN and DS4 for Wii U.

Lastly, I know Nintendont only supports 1 HID controller at a time, but if I use the official Wii U GCN Adapter can I use 2 GCN controllers that way? If so I'll consider picking up the smash controllers when they come out, although I have so many controllers & cables in the living room right now adding more seems... Excessive.

The controller.ini belongs in the root of the device.

Is there a way to see the GameCube intro (maybe put the Bios on the SD card?) when using injected GameCube games on a Wii U?

Thank you!!

I don't know if I've ever tried it but I would expect it to work. The GCN adapter isn't an HID controller, it has its own way of communicating with the console (which is why the Switch recognizes it, but doesn't recognize ordinary controllers.)

The GameCube USB adapter is a standard HID device that lets you use 4 GameCube controllers simultaneously. The only thing is it requires and activation code to activate it. Nintendont has this code built in.

Ok. I must not be clear on what HID meant.

So Nintendont supports one HID device, but this device supports more than one controller?

I got PAL wii, with GC ports, first revision. HID controllers work in HID test.

Here is the thing i use PS2 dualshock gamepad and PS2 to USB adapter to hook up my ps2 controller to the Wii via upper USB port on the back.

So i can play games, i managed my "controller.ini" file and in HID test my PS2 controller is seen as PS3 (Thats because of adapter though. I have one older its only reporting as dualshock adapter, but this one is reporting as ps3.

Anyway, so it works normally i play GC with it, but the thing is...i dont k ow how to set analog L an R Lasg nigh i spent hours and i dont know why it cant work.

i set "DigitalLR" TO "0" to (i guess) enable analog LR controlles, and in hid test, cross, x,o,triangle, square, L2 and R2 all report sensitivity to pressure in hid test, meaning, when i press gradually on any putton except L1 and R1 the hex numbers in hid test go gradually from 00 to FF, depending how hard i press, meaning pressure works!

So i wanted to set L1 as gamecube L analog, and L1 as gamecubes L digital, like click or full press that gc controller does when you press it all the way down. same with R2 i did.

Anyway, sonething odd happend...L2 and R2 did not worked as analog like i set them, istead they where bound to X and square where i bounded X as Gc's B, and square as GC's Y and when i press eather of two they are double controlle, act as both B and Y and as analog L and R, mening hmening how hard i press for example wario opens his mouth that much (wario world)..
(digital L and R that i bounded to L1 and R1 work normally.)

So i can say analog L AND R do work in nintendont with PS2 controller, its just that controller.ini is messed up.

Can someone help me to bind analog L and R to PS2 joypad's L2 and R2 please?
i want analog l and r when i play gc games, some vames like metroid metre needs it! (im a fan by the way) ✌️

I will send controller.ini and my controller data where the l2 and r 2 is detected as well as X and square that are mixing with l and r analog.

Thanks!

using WiiU nintendont forwarder, how to return to nintendont game list from a Gamecube game using wii u gamepad ??
using the wiimote R + Z + B + Dpad Down, brings me to Wii U menu.
