Hey again guys. I've used nintendont and it's really good. But I have a problem I don't see documented anywhere on the internet. Nintendont works when it wants. I was playing Sonic Riders on the Wii U today and it was working fine. I wanna play MKDD and now I launch nintendont, reaches Wii splash screen and black screen. I have to unplug my whole system each time. Risking brick with CBHC. I have vWii hacked as well. Could any of you guys point me in the right direction to fix this please? Thanks

Try this if you haven't already.

  1. Get the loader.dol, rename it to boot.dol and put it in /apps/Nintendont/ along with the files meta.xml and icon.png.
  2. Copy your GameCube games to the /games/ directory. ...
  3. Connect your storage device to your Wii or Wii U and start The Homebrew Channel.
  4. Select Nintendont.
On your sd card of course. Even though it's sorta worked I would do a fresh install and make sure you have the latest version of Nintendont.

Yep that's all done. I actually have nintendont (both the forwarder & normal) installed on the Wii U menu. Using nintendont via vWii doesn't let me use Wii U gamepad so I don't use that one. Does this mean I uninstall both from the system menu and reinstall both? Or just the one?

I would actually test it on vWii first before you do anything. Narrow down the issue because maybe the forwarder is causing it. If that doesn't fix it it's probably not the forwarder so you shouldn't have to reinstall it just reinstall the nintendont files. But if it does work on vWii the forwarder is likely the cause.

You could also consider injects with TeconMoon's injector then you'll have an icon for each gamecube game on the Wii U menu. That's what I do.

The GC injects also do the same thing as nintendont. But I'll try tomorrow. Here in the UK it's very late. But thanks for your help. I'll let you know how things go tomorrow

I'm just giving you options. What you do is up to you.
Wow it was the forwarder. GC injects also work now. Didn't even have to enter vWii. I'm guessing nintendont sometimes didn't know which one to open but thank you so much dude.
