personally, i think this app requires another front page thread - specifically discussing the validity of the voting process for the splash screen. i'm not, at this point, averse to a secondary thread, including a poll to hash out the best type of poll to use in a tertiary thread designed to determine most accurate polling process for deciding that process. then, once all are in agreement, a quaternary thread to actually choose the logo would be required.
a fifth, or quinary thread, where grievances on any of the previously created threads could be aired, is optional, but likely necessary at this juncture.
