Hacking Emulation Hardware Nintendont GameCube controller L/Rbuttons issue

While testing my recently acquired GameCube controller in Nintendont, I discovered the R is in the L button instead of the R button (and the L button might have cloned into the R button). This happens exclusively in Nintendont (and in every iso), as the controller works perfectly in every compatible Wii game and Homebrew app.

Anyone has a solution to this?

Is you recently aquired NGC controller a first party one? I'm not asking if its a brand new one.

i bet you have a fake/3rd party gc controller that is passing itself as another controller?

How are you using the controller ?
wii gc ports?
wii gc adapter?
wiimote to gc adapter?
