Hi all,
I'm playing through Lord of the Rings: The Third Age on Nintendont and reached the part of the game that requires changing to the 2nd disk, and Nintendont doesn't seem to want to swap to the other disk at all.

I did notice in the Nintendont loader the game's listing is not in purple indicating that Nintendont recognize the game as a multi-disk game, yet I have the games set up in the folder correctly per the Nintendont GitHub instructions and countless GBATemp/Reddit posts:
Code:
sd:/games/The Lord of the Rings The Third Age [G3AE69]
-game.iso
-disk2.iso
The dashes are not actually present in the filenames, and I also did make sure that there's not an additional .iso appended onto both of the games' filenames.

I also verified both .isos' MD5s using the GameTDB site and they match, made sure Nintendont was on the latest version from GitHub (4.431), but Nintendont still refuses to recognize the game as multi-disk.

Any ideas as to what it could be or what I'm doing wrong? I feel like I'm missing something obvious but I'm at a loss.

You made a typo in the name of the second disc. It needs to be disc2.iso with a C, not a K.
Remember, K is for HDDs and C is for optical disc media.
No way... I feel like a moron now

Definitely an improvement- Nintendont seems to recognize Disk 2 as "The Lord of the Rings The Third Age (2)" but doesn't highlight the game as purple- but I'm assuming it should still work. Thanks for calling that out, I'll report back if it works

Yep, just confirmed it worked. Thanks for catching that typo
