Hacking Nintendogs not working?

I know, it's a lame sim game but I'm a sucker .. Not having played it before, It seems to be stuck on the voice recognition part and just gets stuck in a loop and nothing advances from this point or maybe you have to say your name 20+ times to get past it .. anyone know?

I thought it froze at that point the first time I played it too.. as mentioned.. it takes a long while till the stupid ai dog learns it's name. Make sure to give it a crap name as revenge ; P

If you say it exactly the same each time, it will only ask you two times. Of course it's extremely hard, but I managed to do it once.

I did try saying the name through the mic (PC) and played it several times through the speakers directly to the nds to see if it would cut some time the 2nd time I wanted to play that game.

I'm pretty sure I managed to do it.

There must have been some disturbing noise in the background when you tried it.
Maybe it was the third time, but it was DEFINITELY fast.

My kid did get Animal Crossing (USA 0223) to freeze up repeatably
with R4 DS. I posted on wiki.scorpei to see if others got similar
problem. Trying to identify source of problem. 99.9% sure
not user, perhaps microSD (1GB A-DATA) will try other mSD
and revert to FW 1.05 etc...

Make sure your microphone's not set to (default) maximum sensitivity, and don't yell straight into the microphone, keep it at a moderate distance from your mouth. Otherwise you get distortions, and it's more difficult for the AI algorithm to discern the repeating paterns.

(Unless you named your dog KKHRRRKHHRKKKRRRHHHSSSHHHHFFFRRRKKK!!! In that case, leave the settings as they are, and be patient.)

just got my r4ds yesterday and nintendogs was one of the games i threw on there. my girlfriend loves it

. the voice recognition can get annoying though haha

and my dog still doesn't realise it's name...
the first time you name the bitch, it takes about 3-5 in a quiet room
good game though, and strangely addictive, it's designed to be checked daily, rather than a long session of play

My dog manages to remember its name but ill be dammed if he'll ever learn to shake, he just wont learn tricks
