Yeah, tried it myself with a US 3DS, on NintendoSpotPass5 the console notices the NZone, but doesn't have internet access on it (changed back to attwifi and it had access), so sadly it won't work on a US one it seems.
Well, hopefully Nintendo will do this distribution for USA later too.

Has this worked for anyone using US console?

It did not work for my US console when I tested the MAC addresses.
It just says "you received this gift before" (I'm assuming it's referring to the vivillon)


Do note that I have homepassed before, so I know how to change the macs...

If anybody has Powersaves 3DS, would they mind using it to start a new save file and get one of those Charizards for me? (Any of the two, don't really care if it comes with Charizardite Y or X )

My game keeps telling me that I've already received the event, even though I haven't.
I'm using a PAL 3DS with a Pokémon Y cart, and an Android 4.2 phone, and the only wonder cards I have are the Blazikenite Torchic and the Fancy Pattern Vivillon.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
EDIT: I've also deleted all other connections on my 3DS and restarted my 3DS as the redditors who lead me to this thread recommended.

As I stated earlier, this likely will NOT work for non-EU consoles. It's considered DLC by the servers, and therefore incompatible thanks to region locking.
