It's going to be Nintendo Zone based, therefore a question - if someone were to obtain the MAC address and SSID of the distribution NZones, would it be possible to use with HomePass to get that Charizard at home/from other parts of world?

If I remember correctly, no. It's another case of the region lock, like the JP Animal Crossing items not being sent to NA units while actually in Japan.

I don't live in UK so I can't do that sadly. I'm more so hoping there is a person on GBA temp who lives there and knows how to use WiFi Analyzer on Android or airodump-ng on Linux to get that.

so i would go to receive gift, from wifi? (i forget the menu layout)
and using gateway, i would need to be using .3dz to get online?
and i wouldn't need to be using the 1.2 patch, correct?

edit, it is confirmed using this mac and ssid thing will work right, i saw some other european event that supposedly worked, so hmm i guess it is that easy, nice

Got mine right away. I named my iPhone "NintendoSpotpass5" and started a new HotSpot. I tried different versions but only Europeans work.

Have no idea what im doing wrong but the Nintendo Zone app keeps disconnecting and give me 003 1105 error. Something about internet.

You can't visit the Nintendo Zone. Go to Mystery Gift and search over Internet.
