He's blowing smoke out of his ass.
that must be a neat trick!

you're companies must do really well

You know what I could easily put a £1000 down now on paypal to prove both you wrong, so wrong! I was just about to post the img up but that would be really stupid of me to give private details of annual profits, names, birth dates etc.. but if your willing to private message me I'm happy to shut you both up and it would!

LOL @ this thread, gbatemp funny as always :D

Anyway, I wont buy a Switch until it gets hacked!
I'm not going to start again I promise but just one last thing. This is the sort of problem I am talking about and please be honest with yourself's I have a very valid point here! I mean why buy a console just because of it being hacked? you would never say I'm buying that car when I get free petrol! these are the sorts of members that fuel my argument. Why buy it just on the back of it being hacked, it is very sad and I still stand by that earlier statement before some of you kicked off on me....and your only doing exactly the same by saying I'm staying on a lower firmware so it can be hacked!

Last edited by Reecey,
I have the feeling that it doesn't matter if you update as long as they don't release a major exploit. I could be wrong but meh. But if they found one and it only works on the old firmware, oh well, better luck next time for me.

How do you actually determine the version you have installed? I know that it should be in the system settings but it just says "System update ready" where the version number should be

Well since the system is new, these are probably actual stability updates.

does a factory reset clear that thing out of interest?
Just turn off wifi and reboot the console.

Wii U also had Stability updates, but they atleast made it stable so games wouldn't crash randomly.
*looks at Switch*
*looks back at 3DS*
Ehhh i guess...

I'm just gonna leave my Switch on 2.1 til Splatoon 2 comes out I think. I've got a good chunk of 3DS games to play, I'm getting Puyo Tetris physical for those keychains, and I can just reboot my Switch to get into eShop to get MK8D.

(Though, I'm a little wary of buying digitally after my 3DS got banned and I can't access any of the stuff I spent money on on it anymore... Isn't it just lovely that that's legal?)
