Nintendo Switch fan problem

Hello!
My nintendo switch’s fans are running on max speed, no matter what, from the moment it is turned on.

I suspect it is something to do with the fan not receiving the pwm signal it needs.

Any help would be appreciated.

It is a softmodded V1 switch, sys-clk is not installed

Yes, it is softmodded

My guess is it needs new thermal paste, and/or the ribbon cable from the fan is loose on motherboard connector, or a failing fan, or your M92 chip is bad. I would inspect inside and do new thermal paste to start. Sorry to hear, and good luck.

So I replaced the thermal paste and still, it has the same problem, I also checked the cable to the motherboard, reseated it.
Is the M92 chip also related to the fan? I thought it was only for the charging part.
Also the temps are max 42-43c while playing zelda
