Gaming nintendo switch charging !?!?

i turn my switch off via the off button on top !! not sleep mode like realy 100% off
the moment i put my switch in the dock to charge it turns on why is that ?
how do i charge my switch with out turning on

When it comes to the battery and power modes, the Nintendo Switch is analogous to a cell phone. Leaving the Switch docked and in sleep mode for extended periods of time isn't bad for the battery.

with the dock my switch stays on while charging and being active ,with out the dock i plug in the power cable turn of the switch but i dont know if its charging no led nothing

Yeah, it's charging even without leds on or so.

ok than i wil charge it with out the dock because the stupid dock keept the switch active i dont like that it gets hot over time even in sleep mode !!
people are reporting cracks in the plastic case !

If you're Switch is getting very hot, then it might not be in sleep mode.
