Hello, i have a problem with my nintendo switch. It can't be charged more than 30%. And in hekate, it shows under battery info that the temperature status is hot. What's the cause of this issue? And what can i do to fix it?

Best regards

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Yes, it can boot normal to OFW and CFW. When plugged in a charger it shows this.

Thanks for the tip. I will order a new battery and then i will test it again. 👍
I have already replaced the usb c port on this console. Replacing the battery would be one of the easier repairs. 👍

I checked the usb c port with a multimeter and i found a pin which has no good contact to the pad. And another one just has 'OL' reading. Maybe that's the problem and i only need to fix that. The other readings of the usb c port are ok.

I could try to fix the one bad soldered pin with just a soldering iron.
But i don't know what i can do to fix the one pin with 'OL' reading. Maybe it's a short with the charging chips. But i am not sure.

I already switched mainboard and the battery is charging fine with the new board. So my battery is not the problem.

OL means no connection (OL=Overload, or in other words, the resistance is too high to measure/infinite)

The 7th pin on my usb c port from left to right shows me the OL reading too but when i put a little pressure with the multimeter on the pin, it shows me a reading, so i know that the 7th pin is just bad soldered haha.
