Sounds like you have some sort of AutoRCM issue. Try charging it for a day. Also, keep a screwdriver set https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Ninten...ssemble-Tri-Wing-Screwdriver-Set/192615603256 handy so you can unplug/replug the battery to reset it.
