Homebrew Nintendo repair changes OTP?

My new 3DS just returned from a repair of Nintendo sales service, because of a c-stick problem. Apparently, the CPU was out of service (litterally, they said "CPU out of service, image default)". Do you think the OTP of my 3DS has changed? I tested, and the emunand before the repair works perfectly.

They can't change your OTP, because as its name says, it's One Time Programmable, but I think they'll remove ARM9LoaderHax if you installed it.

Edit: the only way your OTP will change, is if they replace the motherboard

I had already unistalled it before sending my 3ds for repair. So now, I have to restore the sysnand a9lh.

OK and the CPU, err.... isn't it a part of the motherboard?

well, did your serial number change, because i think if its the cpu they just swap out your motherboard.

nope, serial number is same.

if your serial is the same and you can restore Nand Backups then your OTP didn't change the only ways OTP can change is
1. Getting a New System
2. Getting New MotherBoard

Yeah I can restore backup in the emunand. But if I try this with the sysnand, it will break my 3DS if the OTP change, right? I suppose I have to redowngrade to 2.1 in order to verifying that the OTP is the same.

i guess they could theoretically transfer the serial to a new motherboard, i did wonder if this is where the systems with secureinfo_B files come from instead of secureinfo_A that most systems have (although it may also just be refubs are given a new serial and marked as _B)

well i would say just downgrade and see if they are the same then ninty probably lied and they just swapped the c-stick for a new one and the motherboard is the same

OK, so after a downgrade to 2.1, I'm happy to announce that Nintendo bullshited me: the OTP is the same!!!
