Hacking nintendo logo pops up after connecting to pc

so i am trying to get cfw on the switch using TegraRCMGUI but every time i cannect the switch to the pc the nintendo logo pops up and quits recovery mode.

i am using a paperclip jig that helps me enter recovery mode

using firmware 9.1.0

hackable switch (bought at launch and verified with the website)

Tried connecting it to the pc. Turning off the switch and then going into rcm while it's still connected?

Then it's probably not in RCM...
