nintendo have to fix their shitty controllers first before they throw out shit like that, competitive fps games require accuracy and precision up front

Would it be appropiate to blame Nintendo about this Indie Direct being so dissapointing since they were already highing up expectations during the last year half?

So many timed exclusives. I more or less skipped through a lot of it, but a few did catch some interest.

Blue Fire looks aight.
Baldo - I like the visual style, but gameplay looks very slow.
I Am Dead - skipped
Bark - I like classic space shooters, so this actually looks kinda fun to me.
Freakpocalypse - I'm a fan of Cyanide and Happiness, but this didn't really engage me much.
Summer in Mara - skipped
Quantum League - skipped
The sheep game - skipped
The Last Campfire - meh
The thing after that - skipped
Yet another card game - instant skip
Eldest Souls - Eh, looks kinda fun
Exit the Gundeon - Classic arcade shooter goodness? Yes please!

Quantum League sounds interesting, I only saw it at a glance.

I'm glad Superliminal is coming, I've been waiting for it since it was announced for EGS last year at E3, hopefully it performs well.

Lol, "competitive console FPS" is an oxymoron. As long as console shooters continue relying on auto-aim, Splatoon 2 will remain just as competitive as anything else.

Some really interesting games even if many looked like Zelda clones.

Also, can someone explain to me how being an indie developer and signing a contract to making your game a console exclusive works? Like how does being independent work with that? Just curious.

And yeah I'm pretty sure Hello games are just testing the waters with their game trying to see if they can make No Man's Sky on Switch. I'm not saying no to that of course, as long as it doesn't suffer too much from the inevitable performance and presentation downgrades.

Guess I'm the only one that thought of Sonic a little, when Blue Fire came up?
Eldest Souls confuses me immensely. It looks like Titan Souls. It plays like Titan Souls. It has a very similar name to Titan Souls. But it has nothing to do with Titan Souls?
Can't believe I forgot about that game.

Oh yeah, that's another game that caught my eye.

Well, I am shamelessly "borrowing" Delerious post format to make a public memo note, so later I can check what did I find somewhat interesting and perhaps buy/try.
Hmmm... and I will add a "willing to try it" score, going from 5 (sure to try) to 0 (not going to waste time on it).
Yeah, this will be useful later.

Blue Fire (5) - Looks good, sure I will try it.
Baldo (4) - Yeah, the visuals are nice, but I have to try it to see if the gameplay works for me.
I Am Dead (3) - I think I will try this... on the one hand this type of game are kind of a guilty pleasure, on the other hand it may end up being boring.
Bark (3) - Looks fun, I will try it at least..
Freakpocalypse (2) - Hmmm... same reaction as with "I am Dead", but I am more leaning on the "might be boring" side here.
Summer in Mara (3.5) - Not my type of game exactly, but it looks very well done, I will try at least.
Quantum League (2) - The "made in Argentina" part makes me want to try it. This is 100% not my type of game though.
The good life (4) - Same reaction as with "I am Dead", but I am more leaning on the "looks fun" side here, and it looks well made too.
The Last Campfire (3.5) - Well made, but perhaps boring. Need to check.
Pixel Junk Eden 2 (2) - Delerious, you got lazy? Now I have to look for game names? /s - Not very interested on this game.
Faeria (2) - The game looks ok... but... I think I am skipping it.
Eldest Souls (4) - Looks like fun.
Exit the Gundeon (3) - Not my type of game, but looks very well made... perhaps I will try it.

And now in table format... sometimes I would like there to be some hidden markdown support in the forum.

Will to try (0 to 5)Game nameWhy?Release date
5Blue FirePlatforms, exploration, action... looks good.?
4BaldoNice visuals. Should check gameplay.?
4The good lifeSeems like a funny adventure/exploration game.?
4Eldest Souls2D top view boss rush. Gameplay seems fast. Nice action.?
3.5Summer in MaraHarvest moon inspired I guess. Looks very well done.?
3.5The Last CampfireWell made, but perhaps boring. Exploration with puzzles. Need to check.?
3I Am DeadSeems like an interesting adventure/exploration game, but might be boring.?
3BarkNice looking 2D horizontal shooter.?

I guess the previously unannounced Switch version of The Good Life is partly responsible for the Q4 2019 release moving to Spring 2020 for all the previously announced versions.
Been looking forward to seeing how this game turns out since the Kickstarter was unveiled a couple of years ago. Swery games are up there with Suda51's in terms of getting my attention - kind of surprised there's not more love for it here.
