First time you think someone like me would say something like this but, no mercy this time. :wtf:

I sure hope you didn't plan on spending too much time with the Pokken Tournament DX demo. Unfortunately there's a limit to how much you can play it, and that limit sits at a paltry 15 battles. Seems like that could be blown through really quickly. Do your best to have some fun with it while you can!

:arrow:SOURCE = THE DEMO ITSELF! :hateit:

Why did anyone think that a demo that allows you to play a predetermined number of times was a good idea? You don't see anyone on playstation or xbox doing this. :yayps3::yayone:

Reactions: Subtle Demise
Because as the thinking goes, if they just give you an unlimited demo, you'll keep playing that instead of buying the actual game. As sad as it is, there is statistical evidence that shows demos negatively affect sales of a game. It is actually in a company's best interest to not have any demos whatsoever, because they actually do get more sales on average. I guess Nintendo's thinking is that they can still offer you a demo, but limit the amount you can play it, and therefore not sacrifice as much sales. Frustrating, but you can't argue with raw data.

Or can I?

Well, can I? :ninja:

Someone say yes. :(

.....Sweeeeeeet
Well okay mr. raw data. But i still say the demo should choose is contents carefully over limited play times. Or just do like they did with splatoon and arms, with the global testing events. Why invent a new way then go back to the old way, are they indecisive about what method to use?

I mean, they had the limited play model on 3DS and Wii U. Those demos were timed and you could only open them a set amount of times.

The limit on the demo sucks, I'd rather them cap is at one hour playtime per load with a very limited roster.

I'll be buying the game alongside the Hori Pokken Pad (Black Switch version), just hope they surprise us with free DLC in the future.

After all it is intended to be a eSports game so it's not totally out of question.

The characters they choose as playable fighters are rather tedious to pick from so can't say I'll personally play the demo a lot more and besides, I already had my go at it with the WiiU version.

You can open the demo how many times you want but you can only technically have 15 battles.
