Hello,
I have a problem with the camera of my Nintendo DSi: when I want to take a picture, I have a black screen with "An error has occurred ..." and I want to know how to solve the problem.
For information: it is no longer under warranty.
Thank you in advance :)

Yes, it has? Why?
Why not just use that instead? The DSi's internal cameras took much too low resolution of an image to be practical, even back in 2009 (when it was Nintendo's shiny new thing.)

Also, this isn't related to either emulation or "homebrew," you're having a hardware issue.

Can you explain WHAT you are doing? Which software are you using to take photos: the DSi System Menu? or the DSi Camera tool? or DSi game(s) with camera support? Do you get that error before even seeing the camera preview on the screen, or only when saving photos? Did you check if you have enough free memory to save photos?

@nocash123 My camera always crash: it doesn't work with dsi camera games, with the DSi menu and with the dsi camera tool. It always crash :-/. Yes I get the error before the camera preview and yes I have a lot of free space :(

I had this problem when I took apart my DSi and put it back together. My problem was due to the camera not being connected to the mother board. I went back and connected it
and had no more error. Maybe you are having the same problem.

It doesn't work and now my dsi won't work, the orange led flashes and my dsi won't turn on :hateit:
I think the battery connector boardwork but the red and black fuses have a problem...
Any idea?
