yeah, my router uses a WAP key cuz my dad made it that way and im not allowed to change it so is there any way for me to go on wifi with my ds? without the sub adaptor that is

I have WPA on my router as well but the way I get around it is to set up another access point inside the network and turn off SSID broadcasting.

And passive scanning will reveal that crap in about 5 seconds. Awesome

You need another piece of hardware for that, namely another access point.

I don't really know the rationale behind leaving WPA out for DS though. Perhaps due to the limited processing power of the DS?

You could get a Nintendo Wifi USB Connector.

That's what I had to do.

Won't work with homebrew, though.

in my dorm, everything is secured with a WPA as well. i plan on taking my laptop there, so if i get a nintendo dongle and plug it in my laptop will i be able to get on wifi with my ds?
