Nintendo admits to holding back 3DS software

“Video games need to stay fresh, so it is not practical for us to put them on hold for too long, but we think that some of them may be held for a certain amount of time so that there will be a short interval between when they are completed and when they are launched.

“We are taking on this sort of challenge for the Nintendo 3DS. For example, when we look at the software lineup for the year-end sales season, it is so dense that, if we added any more software, the total sales would not increase.

“Accordingly, we have intentionally delayed the launch of some software titles to early next year.”

With Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Sonic Generations and Cave Story 3D all coming out this holiday season, it wouldn't make sense to release more software.

Just wanted to make you aware (if you weren't already) that news articles are posted with slanted titles in order to promote an agenda and bring in readers. once you repost that "news" is up to you how you want to present it. you chose to present it with the same silly slant as your source.

Except that I didn't quote their article, just snipped out the relevant statement by Iwata. Yes, it was a mistake of mine to keep the same title but that is of negligible concern if you bother to read the article.
