So.. Yap, I made a little Frequently asked questions topic about Nintendo 3DS


Q: Is 3DS just a random rumor?
A: It's not just a rumor anymore Nintendo confirmed it already.

Q: So.. What is it?
A: I'ts new DS console with 3D effect without need of any 3D glasses. And remember, DS stands for DUAL-SCREEN, so it has 2 screen obviously..

Q: When it's released?
A: Between 2010 - 2011 March

Q: What it looks like?
A: Only Nintendo could tell you that.

Q: What features does it have?
A: Sorry but we don't know that.

Q: Could you play n64 games with it?
A: It might have some kind of online store where you could buy them. And 3DS probably has good enough capabilities to run n64 emulator via flashcarts (If there will be some).

Q: Does it use discs or carts?
A: We don't know either but probably carts.

Q: Does it have touch-screen?
A: I don't know for 100% sure but I say YES IT WILL HAVE.

Q: How much it will cost?
A: We have no idea.

Q: Can you play ol' DS games with it?
A: Probably yes.

And sorry for my crappy Engrish please help me correct some sentences if you find something.

It was already confirmed to have backwards compatibility with DS games.

As redundant as it may sound, I may make my own FAQ...

The current ones here are like Jimmy Fallon, who is just, just terrible.

c'mon man, why make an faq if you wont even give definite answers? apart from that, your even making assumptions that are clearly misinterpreted. i know you just want to help out, but i think a better way would be to just gather all relevant sources and combine them into one cohesive post.

Well, maybe it is a way to avoid thos topis where people ask the same questions over end over and over...

A: We don't know either but probably carts.

It's backwards compatible so it will certainly use cards. There will be no space for disks when having a ds card slot furthermore Nintendo is not really a fan of disks. It could use digital downloads though

I was going to upgrade my DSi FAQ to be a 3DS + DSi FAQ, assuming that once the 3DS get's more info it'll merge with the regular DS section.
