Hardware Nfc not working possibly due to hard mod

I hard modded my 3ds and now my Amiibo isnt working.
I was thinking maybe the wires are over the nfc reader but I dont know what the nfc reader looks like.
If anyone know please tell me

Xl? if so, check the little flex cable near where the gameslot connects to the main board.
