yyjoy.com posted some pics of an early version of the EZ4 lite for NDS Lite (without casing):

Lookl like it uses a removable flash medium, mini or micro sd probably??? Featurewise it seems identical to the standard EZ4 (including GBA support)! I'm looking forward to it!!!

Also, M3 plans to sell 2 new cards: M3 SD Professional and M3 Mini SD Professional, both lacking GBA support, but cheaper than Supercard and including there new PDA software...

I don't know how they going to under-cut SuperCard, SC's are practically given away with memory cards now

And no GBA support ??? Even with Supercard 90% of a lot is still a lot.

I think M3 have gone loco.

well the supercard is extremely cheap. i was about to buy one solely for nds gaming but i like the m3 features. lets hope the m3 pro has some snazzy feature although pda features arent so interesting..unless it better than moonshell...

M3 better get their act together, I'm getting a flash cart, and it's going to be a Lite version. If M3 doesn't come up with one soon, they lose me as a customer. Sure, it's not a big loss, but a sale is a sale. Of course I refuse to buy an EZ4 Lite until they get the proper features. Game support as solid as M3s, for example. Bah, I'm conflicted.

I agree. One of the few things that makes the M3 better than the SC in my opinion is the GBA support. I bet there are so few people (if there's any) who will trade the GBA playability for Chinese PDA functions. If that Lite M3 support Mini SD, Im in...if it only support Micro, I'll keep my mini SD.

Peace

M3 Professional - I think I will get this. I already have two EFALinker carts, and don't need a new solution for GBA. Also, I want to get a "DSLite" form factored cart eventually, like the EZ4Lite being developed. So I don't want to spend too much on a cart sized for the original DS that I have now. The sub-$55 M3 Professional should meet my needs nicely. But I really don't need that PDA crap.

m3 mini prof will be the same size as the one now less the lack of gba support and the pricing.

the ez4 lite will use transflash/microsd, same compatibility as ez4 minisd.

this what i read from the yyjoy site....

I actually like the pda functionality. But, not at the expense of GBA functions. They need to find a way to make gba games work as well. The GBA library is TREMENDOUS. To give this up for form factor and a pda would be a little foolish. I do like the idea of a cart perfectly suited to the Lite however.

Hopefully the m3 mini prof will be able to dump games. If it can I'm buying one.

Any M3 NDS kit can dump games.

I was assuming they would disable the function as this version is cheaper.

Shouldn't have anything to do with it. The cheaper price would be due to the absence of the NOR or PS ram chip for preloading GBA images. Nothing that has to do with NDS should be affected at all, except that "normal" mode wouldn't be available - everything would be fastboot.

Something from a thread on the EZ USA Forums. (regarding EZ4 Lite)

Slade said:
If you really want to know. And this information is reliable. They should be out in a few weeks.

Somewhere in mid June you should see them hit the streets.

Thats all I'm going to say.

Edit: BTW, the software will be the same for both the EZ4 and the EZ4lite.
