Hacking newbie needs help getting started!

OK, I've got a DS Lite. I've downloaded the latest firmware from the AceKard website, and copied it onto my microSD. Then put the microSD into the AceKard, put that bundle into the DS, and power it up.

I select AceKard from the main menu, but then it stays at 'Loading'.

what am I doing wrong? Maybe I have an incompatible firmware version? What version should I get -- it's not too clear to me on the AceKard site.

It is a common thing with most flash carts.

Just blow in your ds, and at your flash card.

Which is what is do to get it back working.

solved that problem -- I am new to these devices, and didn't have the microSD card seated properly in the AceKard.

New problem -- I was trying to get puzzleManiak running. Now it runs, but when I power up the DS, it automatically goes into puzzleManiak, and I can't ever get back to the AceKard menu. Maybe I have my directory structure wrong?

On my root of the SD card, I have:
akmenu4.nds
file folders (eg colors, mp3s, puzzleManiak_3.6a, SetDS)
