Hacking Newbie Asking : Old game in latest template?

Ok guys, here is the problem. I have some games in my sky3ds currently, my template version is 0403 and i want to put xenoblade chronicles in my game collection so i need to get new version of template, and i took the latest which is ver. 0423. So here is the question, do i need to erase all of my current game then apply new template then add my games again just like the first time i install them? and even if i restore the save game, will they gone missing after i put new template? thanks, and help me please

WRONG!!!!

You need the new template AND the SETTINGS.INI file (next to template on Sky3DS download page).

Put both into your Diskwriter 2.02B1 folder. Enjoy...
