New Zelda Wii Rumors
Please keep in mind these are in no wat confirmed to be legit.
* Link will be replacing the bow and arrow with a crossbow.
* Game is all but finished. Putting on final touches.
* There will be a playable demo at E3.
* Time travel does occur and it happens through the use of a new blade. (not the master sword)
* Link’s hometown is much bigger than in previous titles.
* There will be several “Majora’s Mask” esque sidequests.
* Character interaction will be more involving than in any previous title.
* The dungeon field dungeon method is changed, and one of the changes confirms a straight dungeon to dungeon portion of the game.
* The current name of the girl in the picture is Adelle.
* Combat is extremely fluent and innovative. No previous Wii title can give you a good example of it’s unique style.
* The game relies heavily on sword combat versus other items.
* There will be less items, but they will be used more frequently.
* There will be another main weapon added for an alternative combat style.
* The game will feature significant portions of flight.

A lot of this information sounds agreeable, as past interviews with Eiji Anouma and Shigeru Miyamoto hinted towards additions like flight, unique combat, and changing up the formula; and if you ask me it all sounds pretty damn good. That said, it could just as easily be written by an excited fan. We’ll find out at E3 on June 15th.

i know which ones are true for sure:

* The dungeon field dungeon method is changed, and one of the changes confirms a straight dungeon to dungeon portion of the game.

* The game will feature significant portions of flight.

Another sure thing: Link probably won't give up his sword. It maybe stupid saying that, but it's information nonetheless.

Actually I think the crossbow does hold its own here I an see how it would be easy for them to use the Link's crossbow training control scheme here for this. others well I'm not sure but im excited about E3 thats for sure.

if this is true if their going to turn it into a red steel clone than this will no doubt be the worst zelda yet for me

I'm taking the combat part is due to the integration of Motion Plus into the game. Make a Motion Plus bundle and it's sold.

Also, I like the dungeon, field, dungeon approach. There's nothing wrong with that. I think my issue with it is that the dungeons need to be more involved, longer, better puzzles, harder boss fights. Or give more options to dungeon progression i.e. heading to one dungeon changes the approach for a later dungeon.

I like the sound of those features, too many items to use wasnt good in the last one, be nice to have less and have better function on what you do get to use, not too sure on the majora mask style though ( got very frustrated with the n64 games time travel and time limit)...... saying that im going to keep an open mind and happily wait, who wouldnt? im a big zelda fan and roll with the punches lol
