I tried that with Skyrim and it it would not boot. And what I am saying is, to be able make a redump quality disc image of Xbox 360 and original Xbox games.

It works for me on my rgh boxes with x360 games, dont think it will with OG Xbox games though. Also only 486 out of 986 OG Xbox games are back compatible anyways . https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360

I know. But there are hacked and unlocked versions of the emulator.

Even though the X360 store has closed, I wonder if MS will roll out a update that prevents this exploit. I'd suggest all users turn Auto-update off if they boxes are connected to the internet, just in case.

I figured out that the Xbox prep app allows for simply running original Xbox games from disc. Hopefully we can soon run original Xbox games from USB.

(I noticed when backing up my original Xbox saves that even when they are deleted it leaves meta information.)

I calls it BGH Bad Glitch Hack and it works well when ya get it rollin after so many tries... Even tried it on my one Winchester i kept after years of repairing/modding consoles... Now that one unmoddable console i kept its a fun toy for me LOL even made a video was enticed after all the years of probing/drilling/floppy disk/modeb slax/79 unlock/ltu 1 or 2 boards rgh1 or 2 now 3!!!
Now we got low level kernel and hypervisor access all the way to the top not opening a thing it's frikkin amazin!!! Now that's what i call hacking

I would appreciate that.

I myself have tried several things such as patching the hacked Xbox emulator with xextool and then booting them with xexmenu but to no avail. I thought maybe running the prep app and then launching extracted Xbox games with the Nova plugin from Aurora while on the retail dashboard with the guide button file browser, but the Xbox prep app causes the guide menu to lock up if Nova is active.

Yes, it’s very straight forward, set freemyxe as your boot payload by renaming it default.xex and then patch Hypervisor once the exploit finishes.

Then boot the XBLA version of xexmenu and you can boot TGA from usb or disc.

I'm curious why the FreeMyXe patch notes doesn't state it blocks Xbox Live anymore? I swear I saw it yesterday and I can confirm it blocks Xbox Live.
