Hacking New Wii Key?

Well I have a wii key, what I dont have is a wii? Why you ask.. Well I knew that we were getting one for xmas, so I wanted to have games and a mod chip handy first... well JUST after I ordered it I fould out about the D2C chip, and then found out it would be near certain that i would get that chip... I guess my next question would be...

would this chip still be usefull to someone, or am i just out the cash?

just ebay it, i'm sure you'd get most of your money back.
there's still plenty of people who want wiikeys with old wiis. i've had my wii since launch and only recently chipped it.

ebay doesn't like modchips. And two WTF it's not near certain now. If you get it in Christmas you'll NEVER, I repeat NEVER find a Wii without the D2C or a newer non-moddable chipset.

There is the D2C-key now. The first modchip for D2C wii's.

Sell it on the GBAtemp trading forums perhaps and buy a D2Ckey.

you can't know in advance what chipset your wii will have so you will have to wait (or buy both chips

)
