Hacking "new Wii" fun software mod (WIP)

OP, I love you right now!!! I've been trying to get this community to do something similar for a long ass time! A few things...

1) Forwarders to mobile twitter, Facebook and google + would make for great apps

2) I hope you can accomplish a forwarder to mobile miiverse.
It would be nice if we had a homebrew that could send updates from twitter and or another social network to the Wii mailbox.

3) wiimmfi could use a new site with a forwarder.

4) some way to bring back WiiMail would kick ass!

Facebook actually has RSS feed for Notifications. I heard about an app that you can subscribe to RSS feeds with and their entries land in the Wii's mailbox!

I made a miiverse forwarder channel, but the miiverse website just says the Wii Browser is incompatible. So that's kind of out of the question. Plus, there's no mobile miiverse website-- the website is just designed well to work on mobile. With no way to change the Wii user agent, there's no way touches Miiverse on Wii.

Really some well designed themes could make the project cool, but I'm no graphic designer.

I was just thinking about this project today. These days I really wish that Wiimmfi had a site similar to Miiverse, designed for the Wii's web browser and complete with a forwarder. So many people are discovering Wiimmfi and Wii Gaming again, It's the proper time for a centralized community.

RSSMii, but it's no longer working, because the server from the developer is not up anymore :C

I made a miiverse forwarder too except mine has music and doesn't require any config files in your apps folder, not sure if the above poster's does. It doesn't work because the wii browser is unsupported for the miiverse website.

Not unless someone were to create an entirely new frontend website which would be near impossible and not worth it.

Miiverse is not an open API like Twitter, and I seriously doubt something like that would happen.
