Gaming New wii channel

I just testing everything out after installing the new firmware and I noticed that the wiiware area in the shopping channel
now has the metroid prime preview channel it lets you watch some videos from the game

Talking Wii Dev, we've got an MPEG codec or something like that in this video. In the "Help" button it seems that Nintendo licenced the technology from another company. Let the exploit searching begin.

i'm in the uk with a pal wii (if that helps) and when i went to the shopping channel it says there were new channels on the front (the bit before you press start) but i get to the place where the channels are available to download and there is only the voting channel and the browser there, nothing else.
very odd but at least we know it's on the way

The content.bin file was in the (SD Card)/private/wii/title/HAWE/ folder.

Yeah, I knew it.

It's because what I've downloaded is attached to my Shop, not yours. It will only run on mine.

Those "free channels" should be downloadable with pc, so you could tranfer it to wii with sd. :/ but no..
I almost added that then people without wireless network could get internet channel and voting channel, but what would they do with those without internet?

(yes i have wlan, just living in europe)
