I’m thinking of upgrading my TV from a 32” Toshiba lcd from 2006
Too a new 37” TV (I’m limited by space)
I’m thinking about buying this model.
How is it?
PHILIPS 37PFL3507H
I live in Israel so keep that in mind

Thank you.

Look into the samsung LED tvs, some of them have very small bezels, and you can get a 40" or 46" tv in the space that a standard 37 would fit.

What do you think about this Samsung UE37D5000?
I have space for an 89.5 cm wide tv this is 88.6 will it be ok (I know it’s old but in Israel it’s the best I can find)

that is actually VERY similar to the tv we have in our living room. if you can get that, i'd go for it. I've had many people in the home theater industry tell me that samsung's led tvs are the best on the market.

I don't know.. I don't trust big Samsung TV's for gaming, if that's what it's going to be used for. My friend has one from 2011, and there's like a 1 second delay for button presses, and it's weird to get used to. I don't know if it's just his TV or what. I have a Samsung monitor I game on and I don't notice any lag at all.

i too have a Samsung monitor and it's awesome
the main use of the TV will be xbmc via raspberry pi.
so i won't game a lot on it.

i have the Samsung UE37D5000 myself it's a pretty good tv, though not very good for gaming because of it's input lag even with gaming mode on i still notice some lag.
So in short it's amazing for movies and such but...Meh for gaming.
